Unfortunately, it is very common for shops to sell fake sex dolls. The brand that is by far the most exposed to counterfeiting is our partner WM-Doll. In the picture above you can see 6 different older dolls from WM-Doll that you probably recognize from other stores. These dolls are the most copied dolls worldwide and the copies are often illegally marketed with WM-Dolls images.

It is common for rogue doll shops to sell fake dolls and use incorrect images of the dolls. It is rare for legitimate shops to use inaccurate images of dolls, but unfortunately it does happen. Those who sell fake dolls at a high price and use pictures from WM-Doll illegally are in most cases shops that mainly focus on sex toys and not dolls. There are also some large Chinese/international doll shops that sell fake dolls.

What characterizes a fake doll or rogue shop?

- The doll has no brand or logo
- Dolls have inaccurate/misleading images

- Price is much lower than equivalent branded dolls
- Supplied accessories are different from standard
- Retailers will not answer questions about doll brands
- Retailer is not listed as an official partner
- No authentication code provided for authenticity check
- Does not have its own warehouse or showroom
- Store pretends to be Swedish or European but is based in China

In addition to this, a pirated doll is usually of much lower quality than the doll it tried to imitate. But of course, it is difficult to know until you have seen the doll yourself.

Which doll brands are there fake's of?

As we mentioned earlier WM-Doll is by far the most vulnerable brand and has been for a few years. But there are also copies of Irontech Doll, Piper Doll, Irokebijin and even the occasional Starpery and Zelex. These copies are nowhere near the level of quality of the originals and in some cases a copy of the product in question doesn't even exist, instead you get another cheap doll with a similar wig.

I have been scammed, what can I do?

First of all, you should be aware of the risk you take when you order a cheap doll from a dubious shop. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. The Swedish Sale of Goods Act does not apply when you buy from shops in China. You have no right of withdrawal or compensation.

However, if, for example, you bought a fake doll at an inflated price from a Swedish shop and this product also uses inaccurate images, you may be entitled to a return and a full refund. We will never speak ill of competitors or specific stores, but there are a whole bunch of other Swedish stores that sell these dolls with inaccurate images and at an inflated price. Ranging from 13,000 SEK up to 20,000 SEK.

Can a fake doll still be of decent quality?

As in many other industries, China is quick to create pirated copies of popular products. There are many factories in China that focus solely on counterfeit products. Of course, some of these players are "successful" and make big profits, but there are also many who do not succeed and go under. The companies that do well tend to change over time and engage in more serious production.

For sex dolls of cheaper variants from less well-known brands, you can sometimes see that the appearance is slightly reminiscent of classic popular dolls. In some cases, these are former fakes that manufacturers have developed into their own model. They have modified the face and body a bit to get their own new product. And then took new pictures of their own, to be able to visa an accurate picture of the product and, of course, not to use other people's pictures illegally.

So to the main question, can I still get a doll of "ok" quality even if it is fake or cheap? The answer is yes (though risky). There are so many different variations of these dolls and the quality can vary like night and day. The worst dolls are really bad, smelly, greasy, horrible. Then there are also nicer cheap dolls that can be of perfectly ok quality. The most important thing here is that the pictures are accurate so you can see what product you're going to get and that the price is right.

Buying a $10,000 doll for $19,000 in the hope of getting a nice one. WM-Doll. It's not a fun story and unfortunately many customers don't have the strength to take the fight and instead feel ashamed, "bite the bullet" and move on. This, of course, knows sellers who sell these dolls for totally overpriced.

Can I get the original version of the dolls in the top picture?

The 6 dolls in the picture at the top are some of the following WM-Doll's older and most popular models. We do not have any products with these images in our shop, but you can order them if you wish. The first two dolls are WM-Doll 166 cm C-cup with head #273 (eg. Olivia), 3rd picture (snowboard girl) is WM-Doll 157 cm B-cup with head #159 (e.g. body Juno and head Bianca). 4th and 5th dolls we have not posted as WM has not released new pictures of these for several years (but can still be ordered if desired). 6th picture is WM-Doll body 174 cm G-cup (eg. Miranda). You can change the appearance and head of our WM dolls at no extra cost.

We call them "WM-Doll Classics". The price of these is the lowest price allowed and at Docklandet also includes an extra head (free of charge). The dolls can also be modified if desired.

Cheap sex dolls from Docklandet

In our collection Cheap sex dolls you can find dolls from our discount brands DX Value and Aibei Doll. Both of these brands have some dolls whose looks are clearly inspired by other doll models from more famous brands. But both brands also have several dolls that are of their own design from scratch. And both DX Value and Aibei use their own images and they have no dolls or product images that pretend to be something they are not. Both these factories are large and many stores use other brands than the ones we have on these dolls. It is common for Swedish stores to have dolls from DX Value (our cheapest brand) but at a much higher price than us (and with wrong pictures from WM). There is also a brand of lower quality than DX Value that it is common for other stores to sell. We do not have these dolls in our range.

Other rogue stores that sell dolls

There are some other Swedish shops that sell dolls. Most are stores that focus mainly on sex toys and have a small range of dolls on the side. These dolls are usually unbranded, have inaccurate images, are of lower quality, and have a high price tag. In other words, classic fakes.
